It’s that time of year again: winter aka boudoir season! When it’s cold and ugly outside, it’s nice to spend the day in a warm studio having your hair & makeup done, and feeling as gorgeous as you are! This will be the 3rd winter I’ve hosted a boudoir marathon and I’m more excited about this one than ever!
Before telling you why, let me tell you what a boudoir marathon is and why it’s the most cost-effective way to have boudoir photos taken. A boudoir marathon is a full day dedicated for back-to-back sessions. While one client is in hair & makeup, another is being photographed in a separate space. This allows for maximum productivity. Booking several clients back-to-back allows us to pass all kinds of savings on to you! The cost of photography, hair & makeup, and even the cost of the shoot location is divided up and everyone is able to get a great experience for a fraction of a standard session.
Now let me tell you why I’m so excited this year! I’ve rented out a gorgeous space in Pittsburgh’s Southside with the most perfect natural light you’ve ever seen. Not only that, but Marie Miclot, an incredible makeup artist, will be joining us for the day. Marie is truly a master of her craft! You will start off in her chair, getting made-up and pampered, then it’s time to be a model for the day! You absolutely don’t have to be a model to do this. I’ll walk you through posing step by step, even showing you myself how it’s done. And that is guaranteed to make you laugh and feel comfortable! LOL
The makeup artist and location used to create these promo images will be the same makeup artist and location used for the marathon. You know exactly what to expect from your own experience when looking through these images. The makeup, lighting, and photography will all be similar to the images you see IN THIS GALLERY.
Join us on January 20th for your own boudoir experience! Sessions start at $250 and are limited. To book your own session, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or HERE. I’d also be happy to answer any questions you may have or give you a list of testimonials from past clients.
*Special thanks to Marie Miclot (makeup artist) & Rosina Natter (model) for helping create these images.
