One of the benefits of being a senior rep is the opportunity to take part in the group shoot. It’s a great way for the seniors to build a rapport with each other and, of course, get some great images. I wanted to write up this blog for a couple of reasons. First off, I’d really like to thank everyone involved; the students, parents, and my entire photography team. There were a lot of moving parts to this shoot and it went super smoothly. The entire shoot was wrapped up in just over 2 hours. Plenty of time to stop at Burgatory after for a bourbon milkshake and a burger the size of my face. For that, I am very thankful!
Secondly, I wanted to share the awesome images from the day. To view the entire gallery, click HERE! This year we did the shoot in Pittsburgh for that urban feel I love. We started off at a mural-covered parklet on Butler Street. I was really excited to shoot wide to show off the entire scene, but I was bummed to find out one of the murals was covered up. It ended up working out well though. We took some close up portraits with some bright colors in the background and they came out great! We wrapped up the shoot at one of my favorite spots, the docks in the strip district. The seniors were comfortable and having fun and it really shows through in the images.
I’m really looking forward to the individual sessions with each of these seniors. I enjoy making each senior shoot unique to the individual and I have some great personalities to work with this year. Keep an eye out over the next several months if you want to see more from my reps! If you like the photos and want to book your own session, email me HERE. I’d love to work with you!
